싱가폴 항공 UM 서비스

싱가폴 항공의 UM서비스를 알려드립니다.

 

아이 혼자 외국에 보낼 일이 있을 때 보통 UM 서비스 신청 때문에 국적기를 많이 이용하지요.

근데 이 국적기가 성수기때는 마일리지 차감이 정말 사악합니다.

 

이리저리 검색해 보다가 싱가폴항공 홈페이지에서 UM서비스가 경유시에도 가능하며 12세 이상도 무료로 제공해 준다는 것을 알게 되었고 제 아들램이 실제 이용하였습니다. 국적기는 12세 이상일 경우 비용을 내는 것으로 알고 있습니다. 역시 싱가폴항공이 세계 1위가 그냥 나온게 아닌 것 같습니다.^^

 

제 아이는 오클랜드-싱가폴-인천 구간을 왕복 이용하였습니다.

싱가폴 항공 한국 사무소에 전화해 보니 한국에서 신청하는 것은 무료인데 오클랜드는 어떤지 모르겠다고 직접 알아보라고 해서 싱가폴 항공 홈페이지에서 싱가폴항공 뉴질랜드 지사 연락처를 알아내서 메일로 보내보니 역시 무료라고 하였습니다.싱가폴항공은 세계 1위 항공사일지 몰라도 싱가폴항공 한국지사는 아닌 것 같아요.-_-;;

 

방법은 첨부 파일에 내용을 작성해서 출발하는 도시의 싱가폴항공 지사에 팩스로 보내거나 스캔해서 메일로 보내고, 원본은 공항에 직접 가지고 가서 체크인시 주면 됩니다. 왕복 이용할 경우 출발할 때마다 각각 따로 신청해야 합니다.

 

UM서비스를 받는 아동은 공항 체크인 시 직원에게 인계되고, 그 때부터 목적지에 도착하여 다음 보호자에게 인계될 때까지 계속 직원들이 보호 해 줍니다.

아들이 말하길 비행기를 탈 때는 젤 먼저 타고, 내릴 때는 젤 마지막에 내리고, 나올 때도 가장 마지막에 나왔다고 합니다.

경유하는 싱가폴 공항에서는 UM 서비스를 받는 아이들만 따로 케어하는 장소가 있고, 제 아들램은 그 곳에서 영국 할머니집으로 가는 다른 아이와 친해져서 같이 놀았다고 합니다.

인천공항에 도착해서는 아무래도 스타얼라이언스 항공사라서 그런지 아시아나 직원이 저희에게 인계해 주었습니다.

Thank you for your email.

Please be advised that Singapore Airlines provides Unaccompanied minor assistance service free of charge.

There are forms that you must fill out, providing us with information such as contact name, relationship to passenger, address and telephone number of the person dropping the passenger off and the person who will be picking them up. Please see attached for a copy of the Unaccompanied Minor Assistance form, which must be filled in and faxed back to (02) 9261 1023.

This information will be written in a booklet form that the parent signs on the day of departure at the airport. The minor will be accompanied from the check-in counter right through to their seat and handed over to the crew. During their transit, they will be taken to a holding lounge, which is in a separate area to the general transit lounge. The lounge area will be under constant supervision.

On arrival at their destination, our staff will again accompany them from their seat to another holding room where the person specified on the form must collect them. The person collecting the minor must provide photo identification before the minor will be handed over to them.
